    My parents are from there. My grandfather was the chief of police in Tayum, my grandmother is from Lagangilang. Their home still stands there even if they have left the Philippines and immigrated here to the USA way back in the 1940s and 1950s. Mom was a student at Holy Ghost. Her maiden name is Tejero and dad' is Tuquero. Hope to visit there someday. Hello from LAS VEGAS. Mom lives in Honolulu.

    it used to be called the cellophil resources corp, it signalled the uprising of many abrenians (thus the first wave of NPAs) because it has not only used up the natural resources of the locals but also poisoned the precious abra river, caused people to die and children to be born with birth defects due to chemicals carelessly being disposed into the rivers. the place is now owned by abra mining, selling the huge metals like junk to other companies.
